New Alfa Romeo SUV Coming in 2027

<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;alfisticrew&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2026&sol;07&sol;new-alfa-romeo-suv-2&period;jpg"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;alfisticrew&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2026&sol;07&sol;new-alfa-romeo-suv-2&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"1535" height&equals;"1024" class&equals;"alignnone size-full wp-image-3904" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>We recently got teaser about yet another SUV coming from Alfa Romeo&comma; but one logical question comes to mind &&num;8211&semi; Do we really need another SUV&quest;” As a true Alfisti and long-time enthusiast of this famous Italian brand I have to say that I would rather see something in line of GT&comma; or GTV successor&period; Even new Giulietta in my mind would make more sense&period; However market does dictate the production plans&comma; and the main people decided to follow the mainstream direction&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<div id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;3905" style&equals;"width&colon; 310px" class&equals;"wp-caption alignleft"><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;alfisticrew&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2026&sol;07&sol;new-alfa-romeo-suv&period;jpg"><img aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-3905" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;alfisticrew&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2026&sol;07&sol;new-alfa-romeo-suv-300x202&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"300" height&equals;"202" class&equals;"size-medium wp-image-3905" &sol;><&sol;a><p id&equals;"caption-attachment-3905" class&equals;"wp-caption-text">Photo credit&colon; Stallantis<&sol;p><&sol;div>&NewLine;<p>The new Alfa Romeo SUV is supposed to be positioned in C-segment&comma; and its premiere is scheduled for the fall of 2027&period; The model still doesn’t have a name&comma; but we can make out a few details from this teaser which suggests more of a sport&comma; almost coupe-oriented design&period; It will be built on Stellantis STLA medium and it will offer variety of powertrain combinations&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The new creation has been designed in Alfa Romeo design center &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Centro Stile” in Torino&comma; while the production is planned in Stellatis’ factory Melfi in southern Italy&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This is also supposed to accentuate Italian identity of the brand which is mainly focused on recognizable design&comma; quality interior&comma; incredible performance&comma; and driver’s experience&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h2>Size<&sol;h2>&NewLine;<p>It is still unclear how big the new Alfa Romeo SV will be&period; Tonale is 453cm in length&comma; Stelvio is a bit bigger at 470cm&comma; so our guess is that the new model might be positioned somewhere in between&period; Rest of the models from Stellantis are at 465cm&comma; so that gives us a pretty good idea&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<h2>Powertrain<&sol;h2>&NewLine;<p>When it comes to engine palette&comma; we didn’t get any information&period; However&comma; again based on the models built on the same platform we can expect to see mild hybrid which would develop somewhere around 150 horsepower&comma; plug-in hybrid which would be quite a bit stronger at around 230hp&comma; and a fully-electric version&period; The fully-electric versions would be the most powerful&comma; and they could develop somewhere around 260 to 380HP&comma; with an estimated range of 700 kilometers&period; One thing is for shore though&semi; we are not going to see a diesel version&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It would be a shame though if we don’t see something enthusiast-oriented like the version with gasoline 510HP QV engine from Giulia&sol;Stelvio&period; Now Giulia and Stelvio are supposed to stay in production until the 2027&comma; even the strongest versions&comma; after which we might see the earlier mentioned Giulietta successor&period; However considering the crack of the automobile industry in Europe&comma; don’t get your hopes up&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;
