<p>Alfa Romeo Giulia is one of the models which started the brand revival. The main people had all of the financial resources, but most importantly the engineers which made their vision come to life. The Giulia, as the final product was simply incredible. It has the recognizable Alfa Romeo design, impressive engineering solutions, and it offered the driving experience no car in its class could match.</p>
<p>However, it is not all roses. While Alfa made an incredible car, it seems like they ran out of steam. </p>
<p>Giulia is still only available as the 4-door saloon, and honestly, it is one of the reasons this incredible car didn&#8217;t perform as expected on the market. </p>
<p>So, in this article, we are going to check out the Alfa Romeo Giulia misses opportunities that could&#8217;ve pushed the sales sky high.</p>
<h3>Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupe</h3>

<p>First, let&#8217;s start with a coupe. As you can see from this rendering the coupe version of Giulia simply looks stunning. The creation of coupe would&#8217;ve required a bit more effort, but in the end, it would attract more buyers. Besides this, imagine if the GTA, and GTAm versions came out as coupe. </p>
<p>They are incredible as it is, but in the coupe, those two versions of Giulia would be legendary. A coupe of the Giulia could&#8217;ve done a lot when it comes to sales. Most car enthusiasts whose priority is not practicality would opt-out for it.</p>
<h3>Alfa Romeo Giulia Convertible</h3>

<p>The last spider Alfa Romeo produced, besides the 4C Spider, was in the 159 era. It was basically the convertible Brera, and it was a true gem. However, the downside with the Alfa from that generation was the lack of legendary engines which made this brand stand out. </p>
<p>Last Busso was implemented in the Alfa GT, while the best this generation had was the 1.75 TBi. This is a great engine, but it was sadly produced only in limited numbers.</p>

<p>The legendary Duetto and Spider from the past had a decades-long production, and Alfa is in dire need of a new convertible. Topless Giulia could&#8217;ve filled this gap at least until the Spider successor comes out. While it would not be everyone&#8217;s cup of tea, it is another version of Giulia which would boost sales.</p>
<h3>Alfa Romeo Giulia Sport Wagon</h3>

<p>Lastly, we got the sport wagon version of Giulia which is a niche car, just as the spider, but it is necessary nonetheless. It would be more practical, and knowing the Alfa it would definitely be the most beautiful sport wagon on the market. If you take a look at the Alfa 156, and the 159, you can see that even though they are SWs, they still managed to look incredible.</p>
<p>All of these versions of Giulia would&#8217;ve definitely made a difference when it comes to sales. The coupe would probably be the most popular, but a convertible, and SW versions of Giulia would also play an important role. Why the main people of the brand didn&#8217;t exploit these opportunities, no one knows.</p>
