<p>Alfa Romeo&#8217;s revival is firing at all cylinders. The new Tonale just came out, and the Brennero is in the works, but what about something that is not an SUV. Well, all of the focus is turned toward profits, and the demand currently dictates the production. While people undoubtedly want small and mid-size SUVs and crossovers, there is still a huge demand for hatchbacks, at least in Europe.</p>
<p>New Alfa Romeo Giulietta has been a subject among the main people of the brand and its future is still not cemented. </p>
<p>According to Imperato, they are still weighing in if the production of new Giulietta will bring the all-important profits Alfa desperately needs. </p>
<p>They are focusing to expand the brand globally, and the best way to do that is through the segments in the SUV form.</p>
<p>But, Alfa must be more versatile, and not forget about their loyal customers in Europe who love hatchbacks due to their practicality and affordability. Since this is a good opportunity to reinstate themselves in this segment, the chances of production of a new Giulietta are very high. </p>
<p><em>But, another question emerges, in which form are we going to see it?</em> If you follow Stellantis, then you probably know that the new Peugeot 308 just came out. It is one of their best-selling models, and due to the platform and component availability, we can be sure that the new Giulietta is going to arrive in the next several years. </p>
<p>It is going to be closely related to the mentioned model from Peugeot, but it is going to be based slightly higher up the ladder. This means the implementation of better materials inside and out and of course a higher price.</p>
<p><em>Is the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta going to come as electric only?</em></p>
<p>The brand is currently focused on electrification, and the new Giulietta will definitely come as fully electric. However, due to the numerous snags in the automotive industry regarding electrification, we can expect the enthusiasm to die down a bit. This means that we will see internal combustion engines for at least one more decade if not more.</p>
<p>This is also going to reflect on the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta. We will definitely see some ICE, if not in the diesel form then definitely in petrol. The engine palette might not be as diverse due to the rising emissions standards, but it is still better than only one option, the electric one.</p>
